Human brain is a gift from its Creator Almighty. It has a great number
of powers that we often observe during different situations of our life span.
Actually it has so many numbers of mysterious powers that we can't imagine.
Meditation is the way to awaken these powers of our brain.
Here I will tell
you the changes that I felt after I had started meditation.
I was 15 when I started
meditation. I still remember those moments and the freshness of those
changes brought about by meditation practice. I started breathing exercise
which followed candle gazing. I could not notice the positive changes occurring
in me at that time but later when I stopped meditation, and those optimistic changes
declined, then ah,…….. I felt them
Sound Sleep and Clear Dreams:
Meditation initiates a sound sleep which
was the first change that I experienced. I enjoyed a peaceful and relaxing
sleep. My DREAMS became clear and they remained fresh and alive in my mind when
I woke up .These dreams were very inspiring and gave a mental energy that made
me happy and lively all the day long.
Improvement in Focusing:
I began to take deep
interest in my studies and did not get exhausted after prolonged studying.
Actually I enjoyed my studying my math, physics and chemistry. All hard
concepts very easily crept into my mind. Meditation uplifted my focus and
concentration. I was now less distracted by activities carrying on around me.
My Positive Attitude:
I become
more jubilant in talking. I was all times happy to help others. I forgot to be
angry. Meditation brought peace of mind. I have always a smiling face. I
stopped denying mom anything and became more helping and obedient towards my
elders. Meditation developed in me a greater sense of inner strength and
calmness.
My Confidence Level:
Meditation increased my confidence. I was
hesitant to talk with strangers and felt shy to ask questions from my school
teachers. Meditation made me so confident that once I went straight to the commissioner
of police to get his sign on a registration form of local library membership.
My Willpower:
My Relations:
I became very friendlier towards all around me. My aggressive nature is replaced by a soft and caring one. Meditation increased compassion and empathy towards others. I became more self-aware , I began to understand others better and was more empathetic towards their struggles. This led to improve relationships and a greater sense of connectedness with others, especially my first cousins came more close to me.
These were a few changes that occurred in me. There were many more which I would write you later.
These are positive changes which experienced
after meditation. Majority of people experience them. But
Remember:
Some people may experience different signals
of success in meditating. You must always keep in mind that meditation is a
personal journey and not a contest or a race. It's crucial to trust the
process, exercise consistency, and be patient with yourself. You will begin to
experience the advantages of meditation in your life with time and practice,
and you will realize that you are on the correct track.
