For a New One,      Find a quiet and peaceful dark place, an airy room, where you won't be disturbed. Set up a candle at a comfortable distance, preferably at eye level. Make sure the flame is steady and not flickering too much. So use a better quality candle. You can use a cushion to sit on. Don’t sit on a hard floor. Sit comfortably with your back straight and open your eyes. 


Start by taking some deep breaths to relax your body and focus mind. Then, shift your focus to the flame of the candle. Gaze at the flame without blinking for as long as you can. Try to keep your eyes relaxed and soft.

What happens when you start Gazing the Candle after a few moments?

As you gaze at the flame, you may notice that your mind starts to wander. Thoughts may arise, distracting you from the candle. This is normal. Don't fight the thoughts or try to suppress them. Instead, flow yourself with them and after a while  bring your attention back to the flame. If tears flow out of your eyes, let them come out. Also if there is too much pains or prickling in your eyes, close your eyes and let them take rest. when prickling vanishes, open your eyes and starts again staring at the flame.

Some people prefer to practice candle gazing for 20-30 minutes at a time.
